Specialist Teacher ASC

Job Introduction

We are looking to appoint a part time Specialist Teacher of pupils with an ASC to join the Autism Inclusion Central Team on 1 January 2023.  Experience of working with pupils with an ASC is essential; experience in mainstream and/or special settings would be an advantage. This position will be based initially in the South of the County (Codsall, Wombourne, Kinver).

Employees have a responsibility for, and must be committed to, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people ensuring they are protected from harm. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Main Responsibility

As a Specialist Teacher you will:

  • Have day to day responsibility for a designated caseload of children / young people with ASC within a variety of settings which may include resourced schools.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher, who has extensive experience of working with Autistic children/young people in education settings.
