Recruitment Administrator

Job Introduction

It’s an exciting time in recruitment at Staffordshire! We’ve made big changes to improve the efficiency of recruitment and resourcing. In this role you’ll be involved in all aspects of the administration of recruitment processes helping us attract and retain the best talent. There’s lots we’re doing from implementing a new recruitment system to embedding our new employer brand so you’ll gain a wealth of experience across multiple areas and there will be real purpose to the work you doing.

Main Responsibility

We’re looking for enthusiastic and pro-active Recruitment Administrator to join our busy, friendly, and supportive team who will:

  • Complete all administration tasks related to our end-to-end recruitment processes such as posting adverts, processing employment checks, assisting hiring managers and maintaining our new recruitment system in line with policies and procedures
  • Supporting the Resourcing Advisors with general administration and recruitment-based activities such as jobs fairs/events, campaigns, social media and pulling together data and insight
  • Provide advice and support to managers in accordance with the Council’s recruitment and selection processes and policies
  • Be customer service focused to deal with recruitment enquiries from candidates and always represent the Staffordshire County Council employer brand
  • Be a champion for inclusive recruitment to ensure fair and equal opportunities for all and enhanced diversity across the organisation

The Ideal Candidate

It would be great if you have:

  • Good administration skills, ideally with experience of HR/ recruitment systems
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing customer focused solutions to all stakeholders
  • Great attention to detail and ability to deal with multiple tasks, working to deadlines
  • Good communication skills with a personable and helpful approach
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to contribute to outstanding team performance
