Chasewater Maintenance Officer

Job Introduction

In the stunning setting of Chasewater Country Park, home to a wide range of wildlife and nature habitats, the Innovation Centre hosts a variety of events and conference throughout the year.

Working with our engagement team, you’ll support us in providing a warm welcome, safe environment, and excellent service to all visitors.

Main Responsibility

This is a great opportunity to join our Team at this beautiful site, you will be responsible for:

  • Day to day maintenance of the wood fuel boiler, minor repairs and general maintenance of the centre
  • Opening & closing of the site/buildings and undertaking basic security checks
  • Supporting in the set up of conference rooms and exhibitions and displays

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally you will have a number of years general maintenance experience, most importantly you will have a flexible approach and the ability to respond positively to changes in demand and priorities.

Protective clothing and boots are supplied. You may be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Some evening work may also be necessary at certain times of the year, for which time off in lieu will be given.
