Business Support Administrator

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Business and Executive Support Team supporting the SEND & Inclusion Hub and SEND across the Tamworth & Lichfield District in the role of Business Support Administrator.

This is a permanent full time position working 37 hours a week, based at The Old House, Eastern Avenue, Lichfield, WS13 7SQ.

Main Responsibility

This role is to provide business support for the SEND & Inclusion Hub and SEND across Tamworth and Lichfield districts.

Working with key Professionals, you will arrange, attend and service a variety of meetings across the District/s, to support the discussion and organisation of support strategies for individual children.  You will also support wider more generic office functions.

You will need full knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to utilise the main applications.

The post holder will be predominantly office based, although some home working is arranged on a rota basis dependant on the demands of the service.

The Ideal Candidate

Working in Business Support requires teamwork, good organisational skills and a good level of competency using IT systems. You’ll also need:

  • Good communication skills because you’ll interact with lots of people across the organisation and externally through phone, in person and email
  • Good organisation skills and attention to detail, as you’ll be keeping data updated and you’ll be working to deadlines
  • A flexible approach to work as sometimes things can change, and so you’ll need to be able to prioritise work and sometimes change tasks quickly
  • A passion to always give the best service
