Please note that this is a Permanent, Full time (37 hrs per week) role but will consider part-time/flexible working.
Main Responsibility
The role of Technical Support Officer focuses on the following key areas:
- Onboarding new employers on the Funds i-Connect payroll interchange system and monitoring and supporting existing users;
- Detailed analysis, verification and manipulation of employer supplied data, using spreadsheets and other available tools and data reporting from the Pension Fund’s Administration System (Altair); and
- Supporting members using the Fund’s “My Pension Portal”.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a thorough and analytical approach and be able to work on their own initiative to meet critical deadlines. Proven relevant experience in a financial / pensions / payroll systems environment and demonstration of advanced IT skills will be required.
We are looking for someone that can bring a thorough and logical approach to your work and be able to work on your own initiative, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. A customer focussed outlook is important to us as is a strong attention to accuracy and detail.
The selection process will be by interview at our offices in Staffordshire Place, Stafford, and will include a short practical test.
