Job Introduction
There is a position for part-time Site Supervisor/ Handyperson at Families First at Faraday Road. 11am - 2pm Monday to Friday.
Main Responsibility
You will:
- Maintain a safe and secure community premise accessed by young children and adults.
- Have knowledge and experience of Health and Safety, with particular emphasis on safeguarding young children and vulnerable adults using the premises.
- Have knowledge and experience of maintenance work in plumbing, decorating, minor electrical work and cleaning.
The role includes liaising with contractors, monitoring and replacing consumables, disposing of waste materials from the premise and to have the ability to safely use mechanical equipment and ladders
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a good communicator, have the ability to work on your own initiative and enjoy working with other people and young children. You will be flexible and punctual, and hold a good health record with no back, skin or respiratory problems.
