As a Senior ICT Support Officer in the Application Management Team, you will have the skills, knowledge and drive to help us support our applications working alongside other technical staff within ICT as well as suppliers and our customers.
The role will primarily require a good understanding of M365, Sharepoint, Teams, ONEdrive, Power Suite and other critical major applications.
Main Responsibility
Enhanced support and technical experience and knowledge of M365, particularly Sharepoint.
Hands on involvement in the build, testing and technical support of our Electronic Document Records Management (EDRMS) system (Corporate File Plan) which is being built in M365 using SharePoint.
This includes:-
EDRMS SharePoint Site Configuration including the design, build, and configuration of sites and subsites based on business requirements.
Customisation of site templates and workflows to enhance functionality and usability of the EDRMS.
Provision of technical support and intelligence relating to the reporting, monitoring and auditing of permissions to support data integrity and compliance.
To provide end-user support for EDRMS aspect of SharePoint-related enquiries, issues, and troubleshooting for users to resolve any issues and develop solutions.
Deliver and support major projects for ongoing improvement in IT technology.
Ability and willingness to learn new technical skills with ICT’s strategic direction for our customers, suppliers and partners.
Be a part of a helpdesk rota to help resolve incidents and requests for change.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have significant technical experience of M365 primarily in Sharepoint administration.
Working knowledge of the Power Suite Centre of Excellence would be desirable.
They will be a good listener, working with all internal and external parties to deliver change and solutions.
An ability to react proactively in a busy team with competing demands for a large customer base.
