Job Introduction
Staffordshire County Council is excited to be able to offer an opportunity as a Senior Analyst Programmer. This role will offer any successful candidate a fantastic mix of technical challenges, design, and mentoring with technical staff.
Working within the Data Warehouse side of the team you will have the opportunity to build on your existing skills, while working with colleagues who have decades of experience.

Main Responsibility
As the Senior Analyst Programmer you will be hands-on designing, and building business applications.
A typical day may include:
- Attend daily scrums
- Design, develop, test, and implement data solutions
- Enhance existing data solutions
- Investigate and resolve issues
- Lead colleagues and business stakeholders to build enterprise grade data solutions
- Supervise Analyst Programmers, Programmers, and Apprentices
- Deputise for the Development Manager when they are not available
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role would meet the following criteria:
- 10 plus years of experience working with data and warehouses
- Significant experience of designing data driven solutions
- Excellent and proven stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to lead others
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor less experienced members of staff
- A desire to continue learning
- A passion for sharing their experience and knowledge with others
