Job Introduction
Are you passionate about improving road safety for the people of Staffordshire?
This diverse administrative role sits within a team of professionals with the responsibility of delivering the national driver retraining scheme on behalf of the Police & the Staffordshire Safer Road Partnership. Responsibilities also include the provision of administrative support to wider colleagues and partners with the aim of improving road safety on the highway network.
Main Responsibility
In this role, you'll
- provide a first class administrative and customer service function to support the national driver retraining course scheme for the Police service on behalf of the Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership.
- process the client journey through technical support with databases and booking systems to ensure a friendly, efficient and timely service is provided.
- support wider road safety team schemes through administrative tasks such as updating digital content, financial duties, orders, payments, stock control, bookings and occasional out-of-hour technical support.
The Ideal Candidate
You will:
- have the passion to always deliver excellent customer service with the skills and confidence to ensure service delivery falls in line with organisational expectations and national guidelines.
- be an exceptional team player, working alongside other professionals to deliver a successful administrative function.
- have a good standard of computer literacy with the confidence to learn new systems and operate spreadsheets telephone, payment and filing systems.
- have organisational time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload and deal with competing demands.
