About Brunswick Place

Brunswick Place is part of the Children's Residential Service based in Stafford. It is a 4 bedded service that provides short breaks and outreach for young people between the ages of 11-17 who are on the edge of care. 

Whilst we would welcome applications from experienced staff we are also open to applicants who have transferable skills and who are passionate about working with young people. For applicants who do not hold the relevant qualifications we will fund and fully support the relevant qualification. 

We have two vacancies 1 x 37 hour and 1 x 30 hour

 

Main Responsibility

We are looking for committed, vibrant and highly motivated Residential Workers to support young people deemed to be on the edge of care.  

We provide a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people where every day is different.  We provide them with a variety of new activities and experiences, promote positive friendships and provide emotional support.  This role can be both challenging and rewarding and will require a high level of resilience and flexibility to be able to respond to the needs of the service.

The Ideal Candidate

To this role you'll bring.

  •  A NVQ/QCF level 3 in caring for Children and Young People is desirable but not essential.
  •  Experience in working with children and young people.
  •  A driving licence.
