Job Introduction

If so, we’re looking for an experienced Organisational Development (OD) Partner to join our team, working closely with the Health and Care Directorate to help drive continuous improvement in adult social care in Staffordshire.

Main Responsibility

Our Health and Care Directorate plays a crucial role in delivering that vision, working in partnership across the health and care system so everyone can be healthier and independent for longer.
Building on existing plans, as a member of our OD team and wider People Services team, you will support the directorate on their journey to:
- Adopt a strengths-based mindset that 'guides everything we do, every decision we make and every interaction we have.
- Achieve a cultural shift
- Embed strengths-based ways of working in support of this
In essence helping our colleagues, whatever their role, and the overall health and care system to be ‘strength builders’!
The Ideal Candidate
For this role you’ll need to be comfortable operating ‘in the grey’ and enjoy helping clients to identify, explore, develop, and implement OD solutions that align with our vision and goals.
You’ll also be:
- Familiar with strengths-based approaches
- A professional who can evidence significant experience of consulting with and facilitating senior and operational stakeholders to help achieve positive change
- Confident in using diagnostic and dialogic Organisational Development (OD) techniques
- Able to offer expertise, insights and best practice in organisational culture, organisational change and change leadership to support successful and forward-looking adaption to an ever-evolving external environment.
- Able to quickly build high levels of trust and credibility with clients
- Able to bring out the best in people to co-create the future
- A resilient self-starter who can manage yourself well in a challenging environment
