Job Introduction
Do you like working with children and young people? Are you enthusiastic and able to engage with young people? We’re looking for a Night Support Worker to join our team at our Hawthorn Resource Centre and this could be the role for you!
Main Responsibility
Working with young people with disabilities you’ll need to stay awake and alert throughout the night. Your role will be to care for the needs of the young people throughout the night as they arise as well as some domestic duties and regular security and fire checks.
The Ideal Candidate
Importantly you’ll need to be flexible and willing to work weekends. Plus, you’ll ideally have some experience of working in a residential setting and you’ll have an NVQ or QCF level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People or be prepared to undertake training with us.
In return you’ll receive regular support and supervision sessions and a wide variety of great training.
