In the Children and Families Intelligence and Performance Team we have the best of both worlds! Our role is extremely rewarding; we get to use our data skills every day and this means we can support our colleagues and partners in achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

We pride ourselves in the support we give each other and the opportunities that this creates for development and progression within our team and across the County Council. In this role you will be supported by our Intelligence and Analysis Officers to develop your skills and navigate through the more complex areas of work.

  • Preparing data in line with legislative guidance, to support the submission of our statutory returns.
  • Supporting the team to make sure we have procedures and guidance that other people can refer to support continuity and learning.

The Ideal Candidate

We would really love to find someone that is enthusiastic about data and is looking to develop their career in this area. It is always great to see someone who has a curious nature and a good eye for detail. As an independent learner you will be motivated to research problems and further develop your skills and knowledge.

You will need good organisational skills and a strong grasp of MS Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel or equivalent tools such as Power Query so do please detail your experience of this in your application.
