Highway Inspections Technical Support Officer

To ensure we can deliver our ambitious Highways Transformation we are looking to grow our team of highway engineering professionals and develop talent for the future. 

Main Responsibility

You will:

  • support the efficient and effective operation of the team by providing:
    • A first line response to enquiries
    • Maintaining digital records and GIS
    • Collating information to respond to requests and support the production of reports and programmes of work

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

  • experience of working with complex data and responding to written and verbal enquiries
  • business administration experience or equivalent qualifications
  • excellent customer service skills
  • the ability to interpret maps with a good attention to detail
