Consultation and Engagement Assistant

Main Responsibility

You will:

  • support the Consultation & Engagement Co-ordinators in the delivery of high-quality and well planned consultation & engagement activity.
  • help to provide various opportunities of consultation to people of all abilities, backgrounds and ages.
  • be expected to assist and support the Co-ordinators in the preparation and delivery of all consultation programmes that take place across Staffordshire. 
  • supporting the planning and execution of engagement events, facilitate small groups under the guidance of the Co-ordinators, as well as supporting the analysis and sharing of results.

You'll be:

  • a motivated team player, who knows how to achieve goals by working with others in a committed and driven approach.
  • approachable: will need the ability to engage & build relationships with children, young people, parents, carers and professionals. 
  • organised: you will required to be highly organised with both your work areas and time management.  
  • committed: you will need to be able to work effectively as part of the team to  improve outcomes for our children and families

You will be required to travel across some rural areas in Staffordshire and it will include regular evening work and occasional weekend working.

There will be a interview with a recruitment panel and a young people's panel. Interviews will take place w/c 18th November 2024 in Stafford.
