Commissioning Support Officer

Job Introduction

Do you want to make a difference for children and families? We have a great opportunity for a Commissioning Support Officer to join us in making sure we’re able to provide support to our placement service in with a variety of tasks which includes administration relating to our commissioned services, finance, contracts and data analysis.

Main Responsibility

You will be responsible to the Finance & Contracts Monitoring Officer to provide support around administration, finance, contracts and data analysis. You will be required to provide support to the whole Placement Service and to deal with queries when they occur internally and externally from other agencies. Work will also require providing performance and management information when required.

 

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll need to have:

  • The ability to work as a team player
  • good written and oral communication skills in order to liaise effectively with service providers and staff.
  • the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • good administrations skills
  • the ability to analyse data and identify trends.
  • Good IT skills
  • Work 5 days a week

But above all else you’ll have a passion for your work knowing that you’re helping achieve positive outcomes for children and families across Staffordshire.
