Casual Support Worker

Job Introduction

Are you passionate and enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives of adults with learning disabilities, come and join our team of casual Support facilitators.

Our service covers the south of the county and support adults with learning disabilities who reside at Horninglow Bungalows Supported Living and Hawthorn House Residential care home. We pride ourselves on providing person-centred support and on enabling the individuals we support to thrive.

Candidates need to have a can do attitude and be flexible and available to work shifts at short notice as and when needed including morning/evening and weekends to cover leave and sickness 

Main Responsibility

In this role, as a Casual Support Facilitator you will provide excellent person-centred support in an innovative, flexible, and responsive strengths-based manner to maintain overall health and wellbeing, being ambitious and empowering in promoting and maximising independence, including positive risk taking.


The Ideal Candidate

Experience for the role is not necessary, more importantly we are looking for the candidate who we believe is the right fit for the role.

We are looking for candidates with;

  • A caring, empathic nature.
  • Experience of working in a team.
  • Effective communication skills
  • A willingness to take on new challenges and learning opportunities 
  • A desire to help others to achieve
