Business Support Officer - PA to Social Worker

Job Introduction

We have an opportunity for a Business Support Officer working within the Staffordshire Families Integrated Front Door service based at Lindum House in Stone.

This is a part time,18.5 hours per week working Wednesday 13:15 - 17:00,Thursday 8.30-17.00 and Friday 8.30-16.30.  

You will be predominantly office based, although some hybrid working is arranged on a rota basis dependant on the demands of the service.   

Main Responsibility

You will 

  • undertake the admin processes as part of the Information Sharing Log i.e.  carrying out the lateral checks for individual agencies on behalf of the County Council in the Staffordshire Families Integrated Front Door service.  
  • also support all of the business support requirements for the Emergency Duty Service and the wider children’s service.


The Ideal Candidate

You will have

  • GCSE English and an NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • good written and oral communication skills
  • a flexible approach and an ability to undertake a number of areas of work experience of working to deadlines 
  • an ability to interpret, format and accurately present information
  • Good time management and organisational skills with an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and on own initiative.

The post is based within the Staffordshire Families Integrated Front Door service Hub based in Stone and as such will be subject to the full police vetting process.
