Business Support Co-ordinator

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Business Support Co-ordinator  to join our team and work alongside the Brokerage team to co-ordinate  the screening of case files, labelling referrals and allocating care packages.  

Flexibility is required to support other areas within the wider Business and Executive Support Service when required, to meet priority demands. This will enable you to develop your skills and experience a variety of work opportunities across the service. There is an expectation that you will be both office and home working by local agreement and business needs.

The service

Brokerage is fast pace environment where allocated brokers are responsible for sourcing Residential or Domiciliary care for vulnerable adults across Staffordshire. These referrals are monitored by colleagues in the Health & Care Support Team (BEST)

The role involves providing business support functions for the Brokerage team:

  • Is an opportunity to showcase your organisational and time management skills.
  • Largely focusing on screening case files, labelling referrals and allocating priority care packages to brokers in a timely manner
  • Inbox Management (Outlook)
  • Dashboard management on Care Director
  • This is role is in a busy and fast paced environment, full training will be given.
  • A hybrid with flexibility to work in SP1 and from home.

Main Responsibility

You will be:

  • Utilising a number of IT systems to identify, label, and allocate case referrals for care packages
  • Monitoring in boxes associated with Brokerage Team  where Care Package Requests come into the team workflow.
  • Co-ordinating on a day to day basis work amongst other colleagues in the team.
  • Providing Team performance data to help identify trends and peaks in work and potential challenges..
  • Interpreting and collating data from a variety of sources
  • Keeping team colleagues, internal and external customers updated in a proactive manner.
  • Responding to queries of colleagues, internal and external customers, sometimes being the first point of contact.

The Ideal Candidate

You will possess:

  • Strong attention to detail and the commitment to the quality and accuracy of data.
  • Demonstrate previous experience of time management skills.
  • Resilience and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to work as part of a team but also using your own initiative
  • Ability to co-ordinate the work of colleagues and yourself
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience in collating and analysing data from a variety of sources
  • Experience of using Electronic Health Record systems.
