Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity to join the Business Executive Support Team.
The Business Executive Support Team is a central business support function which is aligned to meet the requirements of Staffordshire County Council and which fulfils the needs of the organisation as it evolves. The role will primarily be supporting EI&S Services, specifically, Transport and Highways.
Interviews will be held on Friday 14th April 2023
Main Responsibility
You will have:
- Ability to perform effectively in a busy and demanding environment.
- To process financial elements to the role in terms of raising of orders and payment of invoices and recording of financial transactions.
- General administrative requirements ie. mail merges.
- Good communication skills.
- Working to tight deadlines.
- There will be opportunity to support wider more generic office functions to support the delivery of all business support services.
The Ideal Candidate
You will need:
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Effective interpersonal skills with ability to build good relations and communication with a wide range of colleagues, partners and organisations.
- Be competent in ICT in terms of MS Office generally and using IT systems.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and excellent organisational skills.
- NVQ Level 2 Qualification in Business Admin or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Experience of using computer based information systems in an office environment.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and the achievement of high quality services.
